OLUWAKEMI ALABA ADEOLA FOLARANMI was born to the family of Mr & Mrs. A FOLARANMI on the 16th of August 1982. She was the last born and the second girl in the family. She started her education in Sacred Heart Private School Ring Road Ibadan. When her family moved from Ring Road to New Bodija, she had to change her school to D’Alfred Nursery and Primary school where she completed her primary school education. She continued her education at Airforce Comprehensive High School Iyana Offa, Iwo, Oyostate. After her secondary education, she went on to Olabisi Onabanjo University where she bagged a Bachelor of Arts degree in English. In order to fulfil her career aspirations, she went for her National Youth Service in Ebonyi state and was posted to Nigeria Television Authority where she anchored her own TV program. Kemi had always wanted to work in media and  communication, and whilst she waited to get a job in communication and media, she got a job with First Bank Plc and was there until she was called home to rest. Kemi was a business woman and always had her eyes on ways of investing into various businesses.

Kemi was an Usher at the Redeemed Christian church of God Jesus Palace, and she loved the Lord with all her heart. She had a passion for God and the things of God; Kemi had a large heart, she was a rare gem, generous, nice to a fault, beautiful, intelligent, outgoing, disciplined and always wanting everyone around her to succeed. Oluwakemi loved her family and she strove so hard to ensure every one of her siblings and her parents were fine and doing well. Kemi’s interest were swimming, counselling and reading. Her favourite quote was “Stand for something or you’ll fall for anything. Space and words will truly not suffice to talk about Kemi. Left to celebrate Kemi’s good and successful life are her parents, her siblings Goke, Dotun, Dokun, Funmi and Uncles, Aunties, Cousins, Nephews and Nieces.
